Arab-American artist Yusif returns with DESERT DAYS, a contemplative wistful track driven by lush keyboard arrangements and crooning vocals oozing romance and regret. The refrain of the song finds Yusif reminiscing on his youth- “Days when we were young,” when he chased lost loves “in the sun.” The sorrow evident in the track comes to a head in the bridge, with the singer admitting those days are “something of the past… they can never last.”
